Fall Home Maintenance

-Inspect Second floor window caulk/ scrape and replace if necessary

-Check foundation for cracks/ repair {Very Important}

-Turn off outdoor spigots /Drain pipes/ cover if not frostproof

-Check and replace attic vents

-Repair patio's and walkways

-Clear gutters and downspouts from debris (Continually) / Check for fastening and water diverting issues

-Clean oustide windows, screens, trash cans & Furniture, and pressure wash siding

-Lawn and Garden Maintenance (seed, aerate, till,etc.)

-Services and cover AC unit(s)

-Repair/ Replace siding

-Check doors and windows for drafts / insulate & weatherstrip as necessary or replace windows

-Check exterior lighting/ change bulbs

-Secure outdoor furniture/ trash cans

-Check for and remove large dead tree branches near structure

-Inspect Electrical connection to structure

-Inspect roof for missing shingles/ replace as necessary

-Inspect siding and flashing/ repair as necessary

-Clean up tree debris

-Replace HVAC Filter

-Service Heating System (inspected and cleaned)

-Clean Baseboard Heat Fins

-Clean/ Replace Range hood/ microwave filter

-Deep Clean Carpeting

-Patch/ repair drywall

-Touch up paint

-Switch Fan Direction

-Wash walls and ceiling

-Wash Garbage cans

-Check/ replace fire extinguishers

-Check/ replace smoke detectors; and/or batteries

-Inspect attic insulation/ replace as necessary, keep eves clear for proper ventilation
